Acting out waves in class by doing the WAVE is fun, simple, requires NO MATERIALS, and can be repeated at different times during wave studies.

This product is a description of how to set up these kinesthetic activities in your middle school classroom, and how to use these activities in a variety of ways.

Students stand in a circle and follow the teacher's lead in creating a wave. An introduction of vocabulary occurs along the way, and students write what they observe and understand.
