The Classifying Polygons Boom Cards Sampler includes a dozen self-grading, interactive digital task cards designed to help students learn to classify different types of polygons including quadrilaterals and triangles. There are two versions included in this product, one with audio and one without audio. Both decks are similar, but the cards in the audio deck have a sound icon in the lower left corner that students can click if they want to hear the directions on the card read aloud.

Important Information about Boom Cards
Please note that Boom Cards are digital and not printable. Instead, they are fun, interactive, self-checking digital task cards hosted on the Boom Learning platform. You can easily assign them in Google Classroom or with any learning management system by providing your students with a FastPlay link.
After you download this Boom Cards freebie, you’ll receive a PDF that includes a link for redeeming your deck on the Boom Learning platform. If you don’t already have a Boom Learning account, you’ll be prompted to create a free account at that time.
To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” a type of play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards. FastPlay is a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options and data tracking, you’ll need a premium account. If you are new to Boom Learning, you will be offered a free trial of their premium account. Click here for the current details of this offer.
All Boom Cards use sound for the self-checking feature, including the version without the read-aloud option. Students hear a high-pitched “ding” for correct answers and “whoops” for incorrect answers. This feature can't be disabled by the teacher, but it can be disabled by the student after the Boom Cards are assigned.
