Mail is a lost art. We have email and cell phones and we can pretty much get in touch with anyone in the world -- quickly! There used to be a time when biplanes and helicopters did "mail drops" and let a bag of mail get dropped out of aplane to a group of people away from the post office. Camps have done this, missionary groups have experienced it, but probably the most common is the military!
There are missionaries who are working hard in another country who may feel rather alone sometimes - and far away from home. Write them a letter and tell give them some encouragement! They will be THRILLED to hear from someone in their church - especially a student who cared enough to send them a hand-written letter!
