These free Valentine-themed story problems will be a festive change of pace for your Word Problem of the Day math lessons.
There are five math problems that you may assign for the entire week leading up to Valentine's Day. Two of the problems may be solved using multiplication and the other two are solved using division. The fifth Word Problem of the Day is a 2-step word problem.
Students may show their work on printed worksheets or complete the Easel Activity on a computer. Save photocopying costs and have students solve the problems on scratch paper and then find the correct multiple-choice response on the Easel Assessment.
