FREEBIE Christmas Read and Sing Early Reader; Sing Each Page to "Where Is Thumbkin?"; FUN way to practice reading, increase fluency through singing and repetition, and improve vocabulary
This FREEBIE is part of my EARLY READER - IT IS CHRISTMAS, an emergent reader that talks about things you would find at Christmas.
Each page is sung to the tune of "Where Is Thumbkin?". Make reading fun by singing it! Your students will love it!
I taught English to visually impaired children in Korea. Music was very effective with them, and I was always taking what they were learning and putting it to music. They loved learning with music and remembered what they have learned. "Where is Thumbkin?" was a perfect song for ESL students and early learners since it involves repetition.
