This free download is a fun activity for your students. They can create a commercial as if they are trying to get sponsors for a tribute in The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, or Mockingjay.
Great tool to start a discussion on propaganda techniques for marketing and advertising. You can do this activity ANY time of year and adapt it to ANY novel.
Super bowl connection: I included a link to my Super Bowl Commercials Playlist on YouTube. Show your students some famous Super Bowl commercials and have them identify the different propaganda techniques. They'll love it!
