2nd - 5th Grade
This is an arts integrated lesson using Kandinsky's paintings to teach fact and opinion. It is designed to be projected on a screen for the class to see. The lesson begins with an explanation of fact and opinion with student practice identifying the two. Then the students learn some background about Kandinsky. There are several paintings for the students to view. The lesson ends with the students creating their own painting using a random fact and opinion they were given.
