Wednesday Weekly 5 Best Under $5 - 7/12/17

Every week I put together a list of 5 great products from members of The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs Marketing Cooperative (TBOTEMC) with the requirement that each product must be less than $5.  With a variety of subjects and a wide range of grades, there just might be something that you can use, so continue to read below and see!

In addition, if you're a seller on Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) that would like to join the Wednesday Weekly 5 Under $5 team, click here to get more information about joining TBOTEMC.  Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, as I'd be happy to help in any way possible.

By A Teacher's Teacher
ELA/Reading; Grades 7-12

This Shakespeare Log assignment is perfect for any play by the Bard that you happen to assign. Even better, it works for both in-class and out-of-class reading assignments, so it can be used to fit any of your needs. The only real requirement is that it should be used with one of Shakespeare’s wonderful tragedies, comedies, or histories. (Of course, if you edit it for another purpose, that is fine, too!). The Log assignment works like a reading journal, requiring students to write after each scene read. Rather than requiring students to do the same prompts after each reading, or having students all respond to the same one or two prompts that you have to come up with (what a pain!), the Log assignment sheet provides students with seven diverse prompts. Two of these seven prompts can be seen on the preview image, but all the prompts are designed with diversity, learning styles, and flexibility in mind. These are prompts that are used in my own Shakespeare high school elective, and they are proven winners.
