Fortune Teller activities, or Cootie Catchers in the US, are a great childhood game remodelled to test mathematical skills. Check out our blog post (link in document) for further information.
In this cootie catcher there are eight questions on finding the nth term of linear sequences and some non-linear, differentiated to three levels (easy, medium and difficult) and a fourth pot luck section.
It comes complete with instructions, ideas for stretch/challenge and two blank versions for challenging pupils to create their own.
