2nd - 4th Grade
This is a map activity based on the life of Johnny Appleseed. The children will create a map key, compass rose, and title the map according to what it represents. The children are asked to place symbols on a map of the United States after learning about Johnny Appleseed.
This activity can be used with a Johnny Appleseed Thematic Unit.
