Language Arts- "Compare and Contrast"

These task cards are larger than normal so students can work on just one card. More advanced students may complete more than one card. A "user friendly" method of displaying them is to laminate them, punch a hole in the corner and attach them with a binder ring.

Great for literacy centers, the Daily Five, early finishers and small group intervention!

• Does it Compare or Contrast?

• Compare (Write a sentence that compares the given pair.)

• Contrast (Write a sentence that contrasts the given pair.)

• Compare or Contrast – Your Choice (Write one sentence that compares or contrasts the words. Then write compare or contrast after your sentence.) 

• Compare and Contrast (Write one or two sentences that compare and contrast the pair.) 

• Compare and Contrast Reading (Read the paragraph. Then write similarities and differences.)
