3rd - 8th Grade
Zoo Animal Task Cards can be used for many different activities. Just print, cut, and pass out!
Students will each get a card with a specific animal listed at the top. Use in the computer lab, in class, at the zoo, in the library...
Students love to learn about animals. Pass these out and see what students learn!
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Taking notes at the zoo
Interesting facts for research
Exit tickets after a lesson
Group brainstorms as an activating strategy
Homework- ask 3 people for information on this animal
Find 3 facts about this animal’s habitat
Discuss 3 physical attributes
Creative- 3 things this animal is thinking
3 projects you would like to work on centered around this animal
A creative haiku!
This is a 12- slide PowerPoint. (The PowerPoint is intended to be printed.) One of the slides has cards with blanks. If you prefer, let your students choose their own animal! There is also an unnumbered slide. The possibilities for filling these cards in are endless!
Just print, cut and pass out.
Thanks! Kim Kroll
