Learning With Firsties
Before I left the classroom to become an instructional partner I used math focus walls to help my firsties with new vocab, concepts and "I can" statements. I struggled at first coming up with something that worked. I spent hours creating charts for each topic and really wasn't satisfied. After a PD session that narrowed down just what needed to be on focus walls I had an "aha" moment! I could digitally create my focus walls. They are easy to store and look so much better than my hand written ones.
