WHAT IS BETTER THAN FEELING HAPPY?

This project provides the young child with a "feel good" positive experience. Children will think about and discuss with each other "things that make them happy". It is a great "back to school activity", as the children will learn about each other and interact during their "happiness discussion."

Students will create a self-portrait cover for their My Happy Book, create a few "what makes me happy" beginning pages, and then continue to add pages during the school year, as other happy moments take place in their lives. This project provides an independent, quiet, seat work activity for children, and provides the teacher with an activity to be used, as needed, throughout the year.
