The Mall of Amazingness is a fun and short animation video followed by a question and the solution. 

The animation is lively and engaging and will encourage critical thinking and problem solving in students. It depicts a scenario in which Sammy’s Uncle gave Sammy a gift certificate for $50.00 to spend in a mall and he is going to try to spend every penny. Sammy’s challenge is to determine which combination of choices (Movie Passes, Arcade Passes and Recreation Passes) would help him spend every penny.

Teachers have used this in class and found it very creative and useful in engaging students. This is also a great tool as a Warm-up, Remediation, and Special-Ed activity.
