Students often have difficulty making inferences about character emotions, actions, and other areas. This will guide students to think about what characters say and do, what other characters say about a specific character, and what the narrator tells about a character. Based on these observations, students will easily be able to make inferences about the specific character being studied. This really helped my students who struggled with this standard.
