Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Our end of the year GIFT to you! Please leave us feedback, and let us know what you think of the pack! We hope you have a super summer!
A great end of the year pack to help your kids have a fantastic time with popcorn and a movie day while also working on previously taught math, science, and writing standards. All you need is students or teachers to bring in 4 varieties of popcorn!
This pack includes:
5 Senses Popcorn where students describe what their popcorn looks like, smells like, tastes like, sounds like, and feels like.
Data Collection: Students will ask their friends which flavor popcorn they like the best. Students will use numbers and words to describe their data.
Word Building: Students will see how many words they can build using TASTY POPCORN.
Narrative Writing: Write about a movie day you had! Then draw pictures and write about the beginning, middle, and ending of your movie.
Poetry: Write an acrostic poem using the letters P-O-P-C-O-R-N to describe the perfect snack!
"My Favorite Part" Art: Students get creative and use torn paper to make a scene showing their favorite part of the movie.
Popcorn Subtraction: Students solve the popcorn word problem using words, pictures, and numbers.
Popcorn Decoding Game: Print out the popcorn cards with great decodable words on them. Ball them up. Toss the "popcorn" words in the air. Students grab a "piece" and get busy using their phonics skills to decode!!!
Happy Eating!!! Hope your last days of school are super!
